About this tool
A small chart tool with visible size math
Stitch Size Lab turns a short typed phrase into a simple grid of stitches. It shows the chart dimensions and estimates the stitched size using the selected fabric count.
How the size is calculated
The chart's physical width and height are its stitch counts divided by the selected fabric count. The result does not include extra fabric for finishing. A printed calibration square helps you check the output scale.
Current limits
- English letters, numbers and a small set of punctuation only.
- A simple original block alphabet; it is not a full pattern editor.
- One-page printing only; the tool warns when a chart cannot fit.
- No photo conversion, custom fonts, color palettes or finishing-margin calculator.
Project status
This is an early release candidate. Browser and printer behavior and usability with cross stitch makers still need real-world review. We do not claim that it is better than existing tools or that it has been tested with a representative market sample.
